A. John Pollard

A. John Pollard 85, of Indianapolis, died October 10, 2004.He was a Welder, certified eight times and worked for several companies including Pilot Brothers, Indianapolis Welding and Hammond's Welding for over 40 years, retiring in 1985.He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.He is a member of the American Legion Post #495 and the VFW, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge#1883.For the past several years John has been a resident of Cambridge Healthcare Center and has taught many of the residents how to play and enjoy playing checkers and his love for John Wayne's western movies.
