  Ann Polin, a member of SDMS, has been granted a one year sabbatical from her postion as Program Chair at Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, Washington.She will be leaving Seattle to Aninwah Medical Center in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa where she will be volunteering to teach and perform diagnostic ultrasound for the year.She will be taking her two young daughters with her.

  SDMS Member to Establish Ultrasound Program in Ghana ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ann Polin, a member of SDMS, has been granted a one year sabbatical from her postion as Program Chair at Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, Washington. She will be leaving Seattle to Aninwah Medical Center in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa where she will be volunteering to teach and perform diagnostic ultrasound for the year. She will be taking her two young daughters with her. Sponsors are being sought to provide some basic funding for shipping, travel expenses, and to purchase some supplies and equipment that the hospital needs and the ultrasound school needs.
