Lorna Alana Poe

Lorna Alana Poe, a South Point High School senior, has been selected to receive the Gaston County Retired School Scholarship for the 2001-2002 school year.She also was selected to "Who's Who Among American High School Students" for the third straight year.Poe is treasurer of the National Vocational Technical Honor Society and the Future Teachers of America.She will attend UNC Charlotte and major in elementary education.She was also recently chosen as one of the 12 cover model finalists for the spring 2002 Edition of "Supermodels Unlimited - International Magazine."
