Steve Playford was appointed as South American Country Manager at Tamaya Resources on 14th August 2006, with immediate responsibility as General Manager of the Punitaqui operations.This was a return to South America for Steve, whose career included a spell working for a large mining contractor in South America.Stephen's career has focused on highly disciplined, rigorous project management and organizational change management, at the Tolukuma Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea, then with Henry Walker Eltin as Administrator at the Kaiser contract in Jamaica, then at the Endeavor Mine for CBH Resources Limited, and then as Project Manager for the development of the Twin Hills Gold Mine in Northern Queensland for BMA Gold Limited.
