Louis R. Plante
Louis R. Plante is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama where he won the prestigious Clarence Derwent Award for Acting in 1969, thanks to his teachers Stella Adler, Bobby Lewis and Paul Sills.He joined the Yale Repertory Theatre where he created many unforgettable roles, including a story theater "Pygmalion" and a hilarious "Goose."He then spent successive seasons with the Baltimore Center Stage, Performing Arts Foundation of Long Island and The Goodman Theatre of Chicago.In Los Angeles, Louis has appeared in countless television movies and series, from "Dallas" to "Passions."He received an LA Weekly Ensemble Acting Award for his performance in "Master Class" at The Odyssey Theatre.Recently, he directed the play "Imagining Brad" at the Masquers Cabaret.
