"He really was a ‘small-town doctor,'" said his daughter, Linda Plante, remembering a man many had come to know simply as "Doc" for his 50 years of practicing family and sports medicine in Lake Country.
Braunschweig's career touched thousands of lives.
Besides his private practice, he spent decades working as the physician for St. John's Northwestern Military Academy and football team doctor for Kettle Moraine High School.
