joined CEP America in 1992.
In addition to serving as a member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Pillar is the Medical Director at Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, California.
His work has been published in the Annals of Emergency Medicine, he coauthored the MedAmerica Phone Triage Guidelines, and he currently gives workshops as well as resident lectures.
Dr. Pillar received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine; his PA-C certification and licensure from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine; and his Doctor of Osteopathy from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.
He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Pillar is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a member of the California Medical Association, a member of the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California, and an American College of Emergency Physicians Fellow.
He is currently serving as Board Liaison to the Compensation Committee, is a member of the CEP America Contract Performance Improvement Committee, and was previously Chairman of the CEP America Checks and Balances Committee. edwardpillar@cep.com
