Amanda Pillar

Amanda Pillar is a speculative fiction author who lives in Victoria, Australia, with her only child, a Burmese cat. She developed her love for books when she was 12 years old; and when she was 13, started writing her first - and absolutely terrible - novel.

Many years later, she has had numerous short stories published. She is the co-editor of the fiction anthologies, Voices and Grants Pass, which are to be published by Morrigan Books in October, 2008 and July, 2009 respectively. Amanda is currently working on The Phantom Queen, an anthology due to be published October, 2009.

In her free time, she plans on becoming the next Indiana Jones.

The theme centres around their very own namesake, the goddess Morrigan, and it will be edited by Mark S. Deniz and Amanda Pillar.
