Jean Pierre

We hosted and sponsored Jean Pierre, a refugee from Rwanda, several years ago.He spoke not a word of English when he arrived, fleeing for his life.You may have met him on your visit to the Inn.He studied hard and now speaks perfect English, is Manager of our local Burger King, and today is proudly becoming a U. S. Citizen.He is an asset to our community, loves and is more patriotic about our country than some natives.We are happy to have been an enabling part of his life, fulfilling a compassionate gesture from our government in partnership with the Virginia Council of Church's Refugee Resettlement Program which is housed by the local Lutheran Church.
