A native of New Jersey , Sil joined CBS Technologies in August 2000 after 30 years of experience in the telecom business.He completed his BA degree at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania.He continued his professional education through military and corporate sponsored programs as well as independent study.They encompassed sales and leadership training , technology , business management , quality , diversity and financial management , with continuing education credits in leasing.

He began his telecommunication career with New York Telephone after resigning his Captaincy in the United States Air Force.His career path took him through line sales , market management , leasing , services , and an outsourcing product and services General Management position with Lucent Technologies.

Sil is an avid skier and a certified United States Ski and Snowboard Association Alpine Racing Official.He also enjoys golf , travel and classic automobiles.He and his wife have two adult children.
