David Piergrossi (glsensd@glsensd.org)David starts his third year on GLSEN San Diego County's board and his second year as Co-Chair in 2001.College educated as an Administrator and Resource Specialist, David was a participant in GLSEN's Leadership Training (LTI) in July 2000.David was born in NJ, but spent most of his childhood in Delaware.He is currently Chairman of Special Education and a Coordinator at Bonita Vista Middle School, in the Sweetwater Union HS District.David strongly believes in giving back to his community, particularly to the education system, its students and teachers, and his participation in GLSEN is one of the ways he has chosen to do so.

David holds a B.A. in African-American History from UDE and a B.S. in Education.He studied part time at the University of London, and at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.He has an MS from National University in Special Education, as well as a Specialist Certificate.He is currently studying for an administrative credential at SDSU.
