Mario Piergallini

Among the finalists is a Moore County student, Mario Piergallini.He is the son of Adam and Karin Piergallini of Pinehurst.Before enrolling at NCSSM, Mario was a student at Pinecrest High School.

In order to become National Merit Finalists, seniors must be endorsed by their high school principal, earn competitive SAT scores and have an impressive academic record.Semi-Finalists must also write a personal essay and submit information regarding their participation and leadership capabilities in community, athletic and school related activities.
