   Entone Technologies has hired Jeff Pierce as the head of the company's cable sales in North America. Prior to joining Entone, Pierce was sales director at N2 Broadband, which is now owned by Tandberg Television. While at N2, Pierce added Cox, Charter, Adelphia and several independent operators to the company's client list. He also served as the senior director of national accounts for Motorola, where he led a sales team that was responsible for the entire General Instrument line of products.

   San Mateo, California, August 22, 2005 - Expanding its efforts into the North American cable market, Entone Technologies, a leading provider of personal video content delivery solutions, announced today that Jeff Pierce will lead the company's cable sales initiatives in North America. Pierce was previously the Sales Director at N2 Broadband where he developed the sales strategy for N2's major MSO customers. He added Cox, Charter, and Adelphia and several independent operators to the N2 client list. He also served as the Senior Director of National Accounts for Motorola where he led a sales team that was responsible for the entire General Instrument line of products. Customers there included MediaOne, Charter Communications, and several independent MSO's. Pierce started the General Instrument Australia office in Sydney. He grew the business from $0 in 1994 to over $75 million in 1996. He's held top-level engineering posts at Scientific Atlanta and Skylink America. Pierce attended the University of Michigan and majored in both Management and Finance. He also received an Applied Science Degree from the U.S. Air Force and a Business and Marketing degree from Middlesex College.
