Essence Pierce joined Provisions in September 2004 as the Ruth Winifred Brown Intern for Library Special Collections & Educational Development.She recently graduated from the University of Washington with Masters Degrees in Public Administration and International Studies.In addition to developing a quarterly alternative resources research guide, Essence will increase outreach efforts to local schools, progressive organizations and academic institutions.
