Pleasant and West Union Grade Schools and was a graduate after 3 years of Liberty High School and a graduate of Quincy High School. He also was a graduate of Gem City Business College.
   
   Mr. Pierce was employed by Gordon Van Tyne, Moorman Manufacturing Company and retired after 23 years as a salesman for Adams FS in Paloma.
