Jakub Petruzalek of the Ottawa 67's is the OHL rookie of the month.Petruzalek, a 19-year-old from Litvinov, Czech Republic, led the 67's in scoring in October with 10 goals and 11 assists in 14 games.

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts today announced that overage centre Jakub Petruzalek has joined the team and will suit up Thursday when the club travels to Peterborough to play the Petes (7:00 p.m.).

Petruzalek was a member this season of HC Litinov Chemopetrol of the Czech Elite League.He recorded 63 points (20g-43a) in 59 games last season as a rookie member of the Ottawa 67's.The Colts had originally acquired the rights to Petruzalek on June 29, 2005 in exchange for their first round pick (43rd overall) in the 2005 CHL Import Draft.
