Costa Rica - San Carlos: Irving Perez Irving was born and raised in a small town near the Irazu Volcano in Costa Rica. He earned a degree in Sociology at the University of Costa Rica, and also studied English and Sociology in North Carolina for two years. Irving developed his passion for volunteerism while volunteering with a women's group in an impoverished area of San Jose, Costa Rica.
