Blanca C. Perez Treasurer, AHHE/East Coast
Blanca C. Perez is the Secretary of the Association of Hispanic Healthcare Executives (AHHE) since 1999. Ms. Perez also serves as co-chair of AHHE's Professional and Career Development Program Planning Committee.
Blanca C. Perez received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton where she studied Spanish Literature and Political Science. She began her career in healthcare public relations and community relations in 1990 at North General Hospital in Harlem. From 1996-1999, she served as North General's Director for Public Affairs and Community Relations. Blanca Perez Ceballos has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Falu Foundation since 2002. Her passion for children and education as well as her desire to support an organization that is engaged in helping East Harlem families to succeed, led her to join the Falu Foundation.
Blanca Perez Ceballos has worked as Senior Program Director in the Department of Community Relations at Mount Sinai Hospital since 1998. She is the second youngest of seven children and the first to graduate from college. Blanca and her husband Hector Ceballos are the proud parents of two boys: Andres, age 8 and Brandon, age 2. -
