   Peraino, who lives in North Wilmington with husband Bill Sullivan, is a classically trained soprano who met Ralston by chance last year.

   They hit it off and decided to perform in Smyrna together. ,This is just something we put together ourselves,, Peraino says. The pair has spent countless hours on the phone crafting a concert of American standards by Cole Porter and Jerome Kern, Broadway hits including a ,Phantom of the Opera, medley, and an opera piece or two thrown in. ,Bob is such a fabulous accompanist,, Peraino says. ,He knows thousands of songs., (According to his Web site, Ralston knows 3,000 songs by heart.) Peraino grew up singing in school and church choirs. She earned a master,s degree in business administration from Widener University before realizing that singing was her true passion. When she was in her 30s, usually a late start for singers, Peraino,s chamber choir director at Rowan University in New Jersey convinced her to take her music career further. Since then, Peraino has trained privately with top teachers and studied in Italy.
