   Cesare Peraglie, MD, FACS, FASCRS, one of the bariatric surgeons at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center, received his medical degree and residency training at Texas Tech University. He subsequently pursued Fellowship Training in both advanced laparoscopy, in Kansas City under Dr. Joseph Petelin, and Colon and Rectal Surgery at Grant Medical/Ohio State University. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Peraglie has trained extensively under Dr. Robert Rudledge and has performed over 100 MGB procedures.
