   Keith Penton began his career as a jewelry specialist at Christie's in London in 1988 and then worked in senior international positions at Bonhams and Phillips.Having organized many successful auctions throughout his career, he moved back to Christie's in January 2004 to oversee the twelve annual jewelry sales held at South Kensington.He was also appointed to expand the firm's client base and leading market presence in this field.Keith Penton particularly enjoys researching historic items and has written articles and lectured on antique jewelry, diamond grading and the development of jewelry design at the Ashmolean Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the National Gallery of Scotland.Mr. Penton completed a BA Hons at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
