BLACK BOX http://www.strangecities.net is a Doctor of Creative Arts project by Tatiana Pentes completed in 2005.The work has recently been nominated Best Student Developed work at the 12th Annual Australian Interactive Media Industry Awards (AIMIA).Strange Cities CD-ROM, a collaboration with radio broadcaster and UTS academic Eurydice Aroney (Humanities & Social Sciences) won the Best Arts category at the AIMIA Awards 2000, and Tatiana became engaged in a doctorate exploring her hybrid cultural identity through interactive story-telling.Working with supervisor Dr Devleena Ghosh (Writing, Journalism, & Social Inquiry) and co-supervisor Megan Heyward (Media Arts and Production), Tatiana created BLACK BOX.
