Jeff has spent most of his life around the motion picture industry in one aspect or another.As the son of one of Hollywood's most prominent Gaffers and the original co-founders of a leading industry equipment rental company, Jeff has been given the opportunity to learn the qualities and skills it takes to run a service-oriented entertainment rental company that strives on customer satisfaction.His experience over the past 18 years includes all aspects of the lighting industry, including the preparation of equipment for customers, as an actual customer, and as a member of IATSE Local 728 Studio Lighting Technicians.He has most recently spent his last 12 years as the General Manager of east coast operations for the company his parents founded, where he was in charge of all aspects of day-to-day operations.

ID was founded in 2001, by a team of industry experts including Carly Barber (CEO) and Jeff Pentek (COO).
