Stan Pence
Stan Pence is the Trade Commissioner responsible for the Energy, Environment and Mining industry sectors at the Consulate General of Canada in Denver, Colorado.He covers the natural resource rich Rocky Mountain states of Colorado, Utah, Montana and Wyoming.
Before joining the Consulate in 2004, Stan worked at Xcel Energy in Denver handling the company,s corporate debt portfolio and later building the firm,s energy trading division.Prior to this, he worked on Wall Street in New York handling fixed income securities for large institutional accounts, and was most recently at Lehman Brothers.
Stan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and French from the University of California at Berkeley, attended the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in France, and received a Masters of Business Administration from Boston University.For the last eight years Stan has called the Front Range of Colorado his home.
