According to Max Pecht II, it was an "excellent response to the Salvation Army Christmas gift fund."
"This is the eighth year that the Corporate Office employee enrichment committee has sponsored The Salvation Army Christmas Gift Drive," Pecht said.
The committee is comprised of 12 people.Pecht is chairman.

"We started our drive by sending out an e-mail to all employees with information about the drive," Pecht said."We also posted reminder signs on entry doors and in employees canteens.Individuals and work groups were encouraged to bring unwrapped gifts or food and place them under the Christmas trees in the canteens."
The eighth straight employee enrichment committee efforts impressed Pecht.
"The accomplishment of the program was exceptional," he said.
"We collected hundreds of individual gifts and several hundred dollars worth of gift certificates and cash," he said.
