    Professor Stanley M. Parsons received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 1970 from the California Institute of Technology, and did post-doctoral research at the Berkeley Campus of the University of California.In 1972 he joined the faculty of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of UCSB.Currently he is Professor of Biochemistry.In addition he is an active member of the Program in Biomolecular Science and Engineering, and the Neuroscience Research Institute.He has published more than 100 articles in refereed journals.
