   Brenda Parrish-Dickmann, owner of Parrish Realty, a Greeneville real-estate sales and management company, made the $2,000 check presentation to Holston Home's President and CEO Art Masker and Board of Trustees Chairman Kent Bewley before the board's fall meeting.

   At that meeting, Brenda was elected vice chairman of the 110-year-old child and family-service agency's board of trustees.
   
   "I have always believed that everyone should give back to their local community, and I also feel that Holston Home's children need our help," Brenda said."These children can't make it on their own, and they depend on caring adults to demonstrate to them that life can be good and full of hope.My work at Holston Home centers around my basic belief that life is good and we should share our resources and talents with children."
   
   Brenda has been active as a volunteer with the Holston Home ministry for several years, and for several years has been chairman of the Greeneville Friends of Children fundraising dinner, which has been quite successful.
