   Max G. Parra is Calliope's Business Administrator/Website Coordinator. Max is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio. He obtained his BA degree in Management, with a concentration in Small Business/Entrepreneurship. Max was a member of the College Entrepreneurship Organization, and his studies focused on marketing, management, and accounting.
   
   Max also attended San Antonio College, where he received his Associate of Arts degree, before transferring to UTSA. During his earlier academic years in his hometown of El Paso, he lettered in varsity baseball and marching/concert band. He played the trombone from age 10 to 18.
   
   Max previously worked for the YMCA of Greater San Antonio for 3 years. He started with the Y as a Sports Coordinator and was promoted to Facility Manager. He was responsible for marketing the youth/adult sports department, building community teams and leagues, hosting leadership and quality control meetings, and maintaining his area location.
   
   Max has been married to his lovely wife Brenda for 3 years. He likes to listen to music, sing Karaoke, hang with friends and family, work on cars (motors, modifications, car audio, alarms), shop, play video games, and watch movies. Max is also an active volunteer at The Alameda National Center for Latino Arts & Culture.
