On April 27, 2001, Josh Oxenhandler joined the firm as an associate attorney.

Josh Oxenhandler Josh Oxenhandler was born in Columbia in 1974. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He lived all over Columbia for several years and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1997. Mr. Oxenhandler also played for and coached the Mizzou Racquetball team during his undergraduate schooling.

In the fall of 1997, Mr. Oxenhandler packed up himself and his dog, Jeremy, and moved to Kansas City to attend law school at the University of Missouri- Kansas City. During law school, Mr. Oxenhandler was a member of the Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity. Mr. Oxenhandler clerked for the law firm of John Quinn, specializing in criminal defense.

Mr. Oxenhandler clerked for Tofle, Oxenhandler & Hajicek during the summers. Graduating in the Class of 2000 from UMKC, Mr. Oxenhandler promptly moved back to Columbia to study for the bar and clerk at Tofle, Oxenhandler & Hajicek. On Friday, April 27, 2001, Mr. Oxenhandler was admitted to the Missouri Bar, as well as the Eastern and Western District Courts. Mr. Oxenhandler's interests are primarily in the areas of personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, criminal law, family law and mental health issues. Josh is a graduate of the 2002 Columbia Chamber of Commerce Leadership Columbia Class and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix House, a not-for-profit organization that provides services to people affected by alcoholism and other drug addictions.
