Prior to creating Shared Marketing Network, Ryan created Wine Circus, Inc., an internet marketing company which consolidated the inventory databases of premier wine merchants in real-time at one online location, thereby allowing wine shoppers to choose from the greatest selection on earth.

Ryan has provided internet consulting services for more than 200 businesses in a variety of sectors.Ryan recognized the difficulty for business leaders in discerning which companies will be reliable providers of internet marketing services, especially as many online services are highly intangible.Thus he formed Shared Marketing Network to serve this need.Shared Marketing Network refers small and medium sized businesses to trusted internet service suppliers.

Ryan completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA and will complete his MBA at UCLA's Anderson School of Business in 2008.
