I am pleased to announce Greg Outcalt has accepted the position of Park Superintendent with the Parks and Recreation Department.Greg began his duties on Monday, February 9.Greg brings to the position a wealth of knowledge and experience including a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Idaho with a Major in Forest Science and a Minor in Botany.He has over 15 years of management and supervision experience.For the past five years Greg has owned and operated his own business and has been the general manager for Science Landscapes and Tree Management, Ltd.The company focuses on grounds maintenance and landscape design and installation.He managed the administrative functions of the operation including personnel, negotiated with vendors and subcontractors, maintained tools, equipment and vehicles.Greg has also served on the City's Shade Tree Commission for the past two years.

Greg is a highly motivated goal oriented team player who will have a major influence on administering the Parks Division.
