Mary Ousely

Mary Ousely, RN, NHA, is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Registered Nurse who received her degree from Eastern Kentucky University.Currently she is the Executive Vice President of SunBridge Healthcare Corporation.She has held multiple clinical and leadership positions throughout the health care profession.She has served in an advisory capacity to the Health Care Financing Administration (now CMS), developing policy and regulation for Survey, Certification, Enforcement and Medicare PPS, as well as their Committee on the Adequacy of Nurse Staffing in Long Term Care.She has served on the U.S.General Accounting Office (GAO) Health Policy Advisory Committee, JCAHO's National Commission on Nursing, and is currently Chair of the American Health Care Association, the largest trade organization representing long-term care.In 1990 she was recognized by the University College of Nursing as the outstanding alumna, in recognition of a Registered Nurse who has made significant contributions to the field of nursing on a local, state, and national level.
