The group has been able to match about 210 needy families to donors who commit to providing them with food for the holiday, said ACCA President Harold Ottoson. ACCA has been fortunate that the level of support remained strong even during the last three years, Ottoson said.That's because the group works primarily through area churches with their built-in base of donors, he said.But even though the group has fared better than others, there is still no way it can meet the needs of every person in the community."The need in our area is really growing," he said.
