   Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Mr. Otto was a partner in the San Diego office of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP.Mr. Otto served as a judicial law clerk in the US Court of Federal Claims.Mr. Otto was the president of the Moot Court Board while attending the George Washington University Law School.Prior to attending law school, Mr. Otto served in the Pacific Fleet of the United States Navy as a Lieutenant.
   
   Mr. Otto is a past member of the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California, Real Property Section.Mr. Otto is involved with a number of professional organizations such as the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Building Industry Association (BIA).Mr. Otto is also active in the community with membership in the San Diego Historical Society, the Coronado Historical Association and the US Naval Academy Alumni Association.Mr. Otto is an inactive member of the District of Columbia Bar Association.

   Otto was a partner at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP in San Diego where he was a member of the Real Estate Practice Group for six years.
