HMS Crown principals are very interested in the work of Dr. Otto as a potential anti-aging therapy in the future. Music and how it affects the body and mind will have a significant impact on anti-aging in years to come.

    Dr. Steve Otto

Professor of Music School of Wisdom, York University

Dr. Steve Otto, as a featured speaker at the Second Annual Subtle Technologies Conference held in April of 1999 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, presented a musical theory of his own discovery entitled "The 13th Harmonic Partial as a Sonic Key to the Reception of Life Sustaining Energies From the Realms of Space." A brief description of the presentation follows.

Through the ages, esoteric wisdom traditions have referred to the existence of celestial harmonies, heavenly music, sacred vibrational and mathematical relationships --- Pythagoras' "Music of the Spheres." Ever since Pythagoras, European theorists of exoteric music have been hopelessly torn between adherence to the purity of whole integer ratios found as found in the natural overtone series and the mathematical division of the octave into equal parts allowing octave repetition.

"My recent work in Vienna", says Dr. Otto, "led to the surprising discovery of a previously unknown theoretical principle which on the one hand, appears to reconcile the above dilemma while on the other resulted in my creation of a musical system called "Himmelsleiter" (meaning heavenly ladder, "Jacob's Ladder," or "heavenly scale" ). Music and notions of how these frequencies affect the human energy fields will be presented."

Professor Steve Otto is a former Chair of the Music Department at York University where he offers courses in the sonic enhancement of healing, learning, and creativity.
