    In December, the Shamrock Club, which has held a St. Patty's Day parade for 35 years, agreed to move from Blue Mound Road along the west end of Milwaukee and east end of Wauwatosa to downtown with the Westown Association.Many of the Blue Mound Road businesses had supported the Shamrock Club's parade in the past.

    The Westown Association has run its own parade in downtown since 1992.
