Adam Otstot

Three-time All-American Ali Henderson (Parkville, MO) was selected as the 2003 CAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year in women's cross country and senior Adam Otstot (Richmond, VA) was tabbed as the CAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year in men's cross country.

Otstot, a senior kinesiology major, is a three-time member of the Dean's List and has also been a member of the CAA's Commissioner's Honor Roll.He earned all-conference honors for the second time in 2003 after posting a fifth-place finish at the CAA Cross Country Championship, completing the 8,000-meter race in a time of 26:00.Otstot went on to finish 57th at the NCAA Southeast Regional and competed for the Tribe at the NCAA Cross Country Championship.He was also the squad's third runner in the Gold Race at NCAA Pre-Nationals.The distance ace was one of the top performers on a Tribe squad that captured its fourth straight CAA title and earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Championship for the seventh consecutive year.
