Grand Rapids , MI- Bertrand Ory has been appointed Product Manager at the Blackmer Auxerre France location effective April 9 , 2001.He will be responsible for supporting Blackmer's Truck & Transport markets and Blackmer's newest acquisition ( System One pumps ) , the centrifugal product line.His primary responsibilities will include managing the following product lines : Typhoon , Mistral , RAL485 Vac/Comp , Enterprise Compressors , Filters , Hydrive and System One pumps.

He brings to Blackmer five years of product management experience combined with five years of export sales experience.He comes to us from Trouvay & Cauvin in Le Havre , France , where he held the position of Export Sales Manager.As the Export Sales Manager he was in charge of all sales to North America and Asia.Trouvay & Cauvin is a manufacturer of piping and valves for a variety of industries.Prior to working for Trouvay & Cauvin , he worked at Manoir Industries in Bourges , France.

Ory holds a MBA from the University of Hartford , Connecticut , USA.He also holds a BA in Distribution of Industrial Products from the University of Reims , France , and a degree in Industrial Marketing and Mechanical Engineering from Charleville , France.
