Marvin was a consistent honor pupil in elementary grade.He graduated salutatorian from San Esteban Academy in 1998.He took up Computer Course (Office Productivity Tools) in Candon, Ilocos Sur.Since 1996, at the age of 15, he was elected Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman.His term expires in 2002.He is an active member of CIA (Community Information and Assistance).At present, he is a reporter for DWRS Commando Radio, Vigan.
