Dr Lydia Ong has been awarded a Young Scientist Award to the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST) 14th World Congress in China in October.
Dr Ong, a postdoctoral fellow in the Particulate Fluids Processing Centre (PFPC) in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, will address the world community of food science and technology along with six other young scientists in their first post-doctorate position.
The Young Scientist Award is in addition to an earlier award that Lydia received from the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST) to attend the conference.
