"It went really well," said Olsen."We were surprised at how many families showed up for that."The Youth Council doesn't plan to slow down in the summer months, either.With 10 vp's, in areas such as marketing, parks and recreation, corporate services and public relations, these active youths will keep busy. The biggest plan of the summer will be to take part in the Vitalize Conference held in June. "It's a conference for community volunteers, and there's a huge youth factor there. It's a good networking opportunity for the kids," said Olsen.
