Alexis Olsen

Alexis Olsen teaches guitar at NCMC.He is a guitarist, composer, and private teacher of theory and guitar, with specialty in Gypsy Jazz and Swing.He received her B.A. in Music with a concentration in Composition from Boston College and is currently pursuing his M.M. at UMass Amherst.Alexis wants to eventually teach in a secondary school system or college.He is a founding member of the Boston swing collective, Sinti Rhythm, and plays in the group Wood Green Empire.
