"The piece was the result of 60 hours work by my manager Tabatha Wade and myself," said Oliver.
"There were many fantastic examples of creative ceramic art submitted and I was very surprised and pleased that the Playful Potter fountain was selected for the award."
"The fountain was the member award winner, and the big winner of the night was a clock created by Julie Cates from On the Pot in Salina, Kansas that sold for $8,000 and received the Create for the Cure Supplier Award," added Oliver.
"It was gratifying to provide these funds to the Vera Bradley Foundation.
CCSA selected the foundation because 100% of the funds raised go to research," explained Oliver who serves on the CCSA board of directors.
