Expanding its presence in the secured lending, structured finance and securitization markets, leading financial services law firm Chapman and Cutler LLP has added two experienced corporate finance partners, Patrick Lawler and Christopher Oliver, to its San Francisco office.

Mr. Oliver comes to Chapman from Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco.
Both attorneys have extensive backgrounds in complex financial transactions, with Mr. Lawler's emphasis on secured lending in the private equity area, and Mr. Oliver's emphasis on asset securitizations.

Mr. Oliver regularly represents lenders, issuers and borrowers of complex debt and equity financing, with an emphasis on commercial paper conduit transactions.His work has involved securitizations, asset-based financing, vendor captive financing, and leasing transactions.He also advises financial institutions and corporations on the structuring of global equipment and software vendor programs.Among the transactions he has worked was a novel $100 million commercial paper facility that created the platform for the first major securitization of software receivables in 2005, as well as representing an originator in connection with its $100 million disk drive receivables securitization.
