Darrell Oakley is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, a BA Honours degree (Cum Laude) and MA degree (Cum Laude).
Prior to joining Qtab, Darrell worked as a consulting Industrial/Organisational Psychologist for Stephen Renecle and Associates, a Human Resource consultancy in South Africa.He has worked with numerous public and private, commercial organisations both within South Africa and the United Kingdom, where he has consulted on diverse matters related to people in the workplace.Darrell has extensive experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of numerous Human Resource systems.His areas of speciality included the assessment and development of human potential where he has focussed extensively on the assessment of management ability and potential of individuals.He has been involved in numerous projects including the development of competency frameworks, performance management systems and the development and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies (including the design and implementation of assessment and development centres).Darrell has also been involved in the development and delivery of numerous bespoke management development programmes across a variety of organisations.
Darrell has been actively involved with coaching and advising managers to enhance both the satisfaction and motivation of their staff, whilst at the same time, focussing on improvement with respect to performance and productivity.He has experience as both a trainer and facilitator at various levels within organisations where he has been involved in focus groups, teambuilding and organisational development initiatives.
