    John OaklandProfessor John OaklandProfessor Oakland is Executive Chairman of Oakland Consulting plc and Head of its Research and Education Division, the European Centre for Business Excellence.

    Professor Oakland is author of several best selling books, including: Total Organisational Excellence; Total Quality Management (several editions); Statistical Process Control (4th edition) and Production and Operations Management.He has written well over a hundred papers, articles and reports on various topics in these fields.

    Professor Oakland is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, the Royal Society of Arts, Institute of Quality Assurance and Royal Statistical Society.He is also a Chartered Chemist and Chartered Member of the Institute of Management.
