Eugene O'Sullivan is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Elliott Company, a global manufacturer of large compressors and steam turbines, located in Jeannette, PA.He is a lifelong member of the Pittsburgh business community, beginning as a certified public accountant with Schneider Downs & Company.He was also Chief Financial Officer of Joy Manufacturing Co. and the Conair Group, Inc. before joining Elliott in 2004.

He is a prior member of the Board of Financial Executives International (Pittsburgh), the Foundation for Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Chair of the FIUP Investment Committee.Mr. O'Sullivan resides in Squirrel Hill with his wife Sandy.

Eugene J. O'Sullivan joined Elliott Company on January 5, 2004 as the new Vice President of Finance, reporting directly to Ichiro Itabashi, Elliott's Chief Financial Officer.

Gene comes to Elliott Company with nearly thirty years of financial management experience with multinational capital goods manufacturers.He held the position of Chief Financial Officer at both The Conair Group (1991 - 2002), a leading international plastics equipment manufacturer; and Joy Technologies (1974 - 1991), a multinational manufacturer of mining equipment and engineered pollution abatement systems.He was most recently employed as the Interim Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for his alma mater, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting in 1971.

Active in several organizations, Gene is on the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Chapter of Financial Executives International and the Foundation for Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he chairs the Investment Committee.He is also on the Advisory Council of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.

Gene and his wife, Sandy, live in the Squirrel Hill Section of Pittsburgh.Their daughter, Shea, lives and works in Boston.
