The public school division will host classes for students from grades 8 to 12 at Canmore Collegiate High School, said Banff Community High School principal Brian O'Toole, the man in charge of the summer school program.Classes for high school students will run four hours a day starting at 8:30 a.m.They'll run for four weeks starting July 5.That means 80 hours of instruction for a five-credit class.Junior high classes will run 90 minutes per day in the morning.O'Toole said two teachers have been hired to look after instruction. One is a general CRPS substitute teacher; the other is a retired teacher.About 23 students had registered for the program as of last Wednesday, though O'Toole said the results of exams this month may push registration numbers up.Most, but not all, of the students registered for summer classes are from the Bow Valley, he said.
