JIM O'REILLY, UPWIND'S PRESIDENT, BECOMES MANCHESTER PRINCIPAL
MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Manchester Companies, Inc. announced today that Upwind Capital Partners, a corporate finance and business consulting firm, is merging with Manchester effective today and that its founder and president, Jim O'Reilly, has joined Manchester as a Principal.
With over 25 years of executive and board-level experience, Mr. O'Reilly's focus at Upwind Capital Partners has been with advising small- and middle-market companies in the Midwest, providing corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, sales/marketing planning, turnaround, and interim executive management business advisory.

Prior to founding Upwind Capital Partners, Mr. O'Reilly was an active investor in the Twin Cities area with Space Center Ventures, and also held the position of Membership Chairman for the Minnesota Venture Capital Association, where he guided many companies toward success through various exit scenarios.
Previous to that, he was the Executive Vice President of VisionShare, Inc., where his involvement resulted in more than $2M in equity financing in less than 90 days after joining the team, as well as a total of $7.5M of highly valued equity financing over a three-year period.He also has syndicated many venture and private equity transactions through his venture capital network.
Mr. O'Reilly is a 1983 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Economics.He has participated in and graduated from the University of Minnesota's Mini-MD program, and has been a regular panelist and speaker at the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota's Graduate Schools of Business.
