KENNETH B. O'HOLLAREN, Executive Director of the Port of Longview
Ken O'Hollaren has served as the Executive Director of the Port of Longview, Washington, since January, 1988.Ken joined the Port in 1980 as Assistant Operations Manager, later becoming the assistant to the Executive Director.Prior to joining the Port of Longview, Ken worked in Portland, Oregon, as Operations Manager for Overseas Shipping Company and Evergreen Line.
Ken is presently chairman of the Interstate Columbia River Improvement Project, a bi-state coalition of ports organized to deepen the Columbia River navigation channel.He also serves on the Boards of the Cowlitz Economic Development Council, and as Chairman of the American Association of Port Authorities.
Ken earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon in Political Science and Latin American Studies in 1977, and an M.B.A. from the University of Portland in 1987.
